Human beings have increasingly discovered the laws that govern nature\u2014not only those within immediate reach, but also those that pertain to the world of the infinitely small, such as subatomic particles, and the world of the infinitely vast and distant, such as celestial bodies and galaxies across the universe. Humanity has gone so far as to formulate extraordinary theories, including those of relativity, quantum mechanics, and the multiverse. But how does human intelligence manage to evaluate, predict, and concretely experiment with all of this, developing accurate models while having access only to finite things, limited to the five senses? This would not be possible if the human being did not possess within himself the concept of the infinite\u2014something that cannot be directly derived from or experienced in the physical world, but which arises from the presence of the human spirit. It is through this spirit that he becomes capable of going beyond the visible and of interpreting physical reality\u2014even the invisible\u2014in increasingly profound ways.<\/span><\/span>
