This discipline studies social phenomena, behaviors, and relationships among individuals within social groups or human institutions. Precisely because these groups are not merely sums of people but something more due to the richness and complexity of interactions both within and outside them, what would the study of social phenomena and the awareness of its research data be if the spiritual soul in each person were ignored? Wouldn\u2019t it soon lead to considering society and its groups not as a complex of individuals but as a mass of individuals to study and direct, progressively replacing each person\u2019s spiritual soul with a \u201csocial soul,\u201d thereby constructing a partial and deceptive social happiness or well-being? Wouldn\u2019t sociology then easily become just a tool for market laws or the uniform thought of a new dictatorship?<\/p>\n
