Through the observation and study of certain natural phenomena, humanity discovered the existence and movement of electrons—even without being able to see them with the naked eye. Man did not stop at the sensory perception of reality; he went further. How did human intelligence manage to conceive of electric charges, study them, control them, and create electronic and communication devices that had never existed in any form before? How did man come to see things that are invisible? What unique energy, superior to material nature, resides in his thought and imagination—if not the spirit, which enables him to discern the laws within nature, to harness them, and to master them?
